Wharenui Coin Boxes
These little Wharenui coin boxes are a lovely wee besboke choice of gift for someone special - whether it be for a child saving pocket money, or a quirky gift for an adult - kiwi or not!
The kowhaiwhai illustrated on these wee meeting houses are a loose representation of actual kowhaiwhai (Maori design/pattern), with some elements made up completely.
These hand-illustrations have been drawn on light craft wood, with a rubber plug in the bottom / underneath the wharenui.
*Wharenui - (Noun) Meeting House, large house - main building of a marae where guests are accommodated*
