These three Acrylic-painted pieces, all share Maori-stylised, Mandala designs on smaller sized round boards.  The Maori-stylised designs used, derivatives of Kowhaiwhai (Maori motifs), that were traditionally used in meeting houses to adorn and tell stories of the people of that area.  I have added them in by creating an original, mandala kind of style to create a short story of my own for each piece:

Kakaru (Jellyfish)
For my love of the sea and it's creatures.  This piece represents a jellyfish using Maori motifs and Mandala amalgamation.
Putiputi (Flower)
A Maori-Mandala created with a flower shape in mind, which accommodates the Kape Rua Kowhaiwhai element within.  I was told once, that the Kape Rua is particularly for females, so I thought to add it in to the design to create a more feminine flow throughout the piece.
Te Ra (The Sun)
This piece was illustrated for my love of the sun and it's warmth it brings. Again, this is an adaption of Mandala, using Maori Kowhaiwhai design elements.
These are the last three of this collection.  And I am uncertain that I will be able to source these wood pieces again.  In order to avoid disappointment, nab them while you can!
