This extravagant botanic painting has a 2.6cm, framed canvas -which brings out the elegance of the imagery painted within.

This piece (61cm x 39cm) was contributed to by my daughter and her wee friend one Sunday, where they painted the base coats for me to build on.  It was an experimental piece, in terms of process, to get the creativity flowing after a busy week.  And flow it did! 

This piece was inspired by the base colour chosen by the girls, as well as NZ flora.  The painting shows abstract elements of Pohutukawa blossom, Echinacea flowers, Karaka and miro berries. I hope the fuchsia and navy tones shine with vibrancy in her forever home one day.
